The Internet based NDT process allows the calibration and testing procedures to be performed locally where the discontinuity detector is installed and remotely using the equipment and techniques described in this paper. The developed facility allows blended delivery of an ultrasonic NDT course both locally at Drexel University or remotely to the students of participating community colleges or employees of NDT companies. This paper presents the development of a real-time, remote, Internet based NDT laboratory.
